5182-H19 aluminum sheet is strain hardened to a strength that exceeds H18 by at least 10 MPa. It has the highest strength compared to the other variants of 5182 aluminum plate. 5182-H38 is the strongest temper normally produced through the action of strain hardening followed by stabilization. It is closely related to H18.

5183-H39 has the second highest strength compared to the other variants of 5182 aluminum. 5182-O is 5182 aluminum in the annealed condition. The corresponding elongation of 5182-O is higher than that of 5083-O and5454-O aluminum sheet.
