It also contains a small amount of silicon, copper, zinc, manganese and other elements. The tensile strength is greater than 215MPa, which is about 20% higher than that of 5052 aluminum sheet.

It properties are roughly the same as that of 5154, but its corrosion resistance in harsh environments is better than that of 5154 aluminum plate. The 5454 aluminum sheet has excellent ductility and high strength. It is usually used in fields such as fuel tanks, tank truck cylinders, marine facility pipelines, and automobile wheels.

The 5182 aluminum has a tensile strength of 280MPa or more, a yield strength of 125 or more, and an elongation rate of more than 26%. It has reached the "European Agreement on the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR)" standards. In the case of the same loading quality, the wall thickness can be thinner.
